Heather C. Watson is a native of an Eastern Kentucky coal camp town, where she grew up on a steady diet of Appalachian culture, Kentucky literature, quilt patterns, and chicken and dumplin's. An alumna of Transylvania University and the University of Kentucky, Heather is a freelance writer, editor, and social media manager. She is an active member of GLOW (Greater Louisville Outstanding Women) and a member of the Board of Directors for the Younger Woman's Club of Louisville.
